Holland Engineering, Inc. is actively seeking a Structural Engineer to join their Holland office location. The Engineer role is intended for those motivated individuals with 4-6 years of experience in structural engineering possessing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and licensed as a professional engineer (PE). NCEES record is preferred.
The Structural Engineer role is to support the Group Manager and various organizational discipline engineers in a wide range of responsibilities, including the following:
- Structural analysis and design of small to mid-scale projects for commercial and industrial clients;
- Structural modeling using RISA-3D; pipe stress analysis using Bentley AutoPIPE;
- Structural condition assessments;
- Preparation and review of structural drawings and specifications in AutoCAD (Revit preferred), including integration of internal, and customer-specific CAD standards;
- Representation at project meetings, attendance at pre-construction, pre-fabrication and construction meetings;
- Coordination and internal collaboration with Project Engineers and CAD Designers on project requirements and other tasks required to deliver successful projects;

Holland Engineering, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced CAD Designer in our Holland office location. Candidate must be able to perform technical, computer-aided design support on projects independently for both our Local Land Development and Pipeline Groups.
It is required that this candidate have a minimum of 4 years applicable industry experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. MicroStation experience would be beneficial but is not required. Candidates with industry related design experience will be given preference.

Document Control Specialist
Holland Engineering is seeking a full-time Document Control Specialist. Work will initially be assigned out of our Southfield, Michigan office, but the candidate will report daily to our client’s location. This position will last for about one year and requires a candidate to have entry-level engineering experience, along with the ability to apply basic engineering principles to the tasks at hand.
The position will involve sorting through a variety of collected records in a comprehensive filing system; then analyzing the details of the content and investigating any information that contradicts with the original information found. Candidate will be looking at a wide variety of pipeline records, mechanical drawings, hydrostatic testing reports, etc.; making the need for a basic engineering background a must.

Holland Engineering is seeking experienced Project Engineers to join our Southfield, MI office. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of pipeline engineering and design experience with an emphasis in the gas and oil industry. Demonstrated experience with products including AutoCAD and Micro Station will be beneficial along with proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products.
The position will involve coordinating and directing the completion of assigned pipeline projects. Also, the candidate will prepare project proposals; establish and maintain primary contact with clients; and prepare schedules to assure projects are on time and within budget. The successful candidate will supervise entry-level engineers, technicians, designers, and other staff as required while taking an active role in the engineering design of projects.

Holland Engineering is seeking experienced Corrosion Technicians to work out of our Holland and Southfield office locations in Michigan. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years applicable on the job experience. The Corrosion Technician is responsible for all facets of field performance in corrosion prevention duties on pipeline systems including cathodic protection, internal corrosion control, protective coating and linings, materials selection and design/project support. Duties may include, but are not limited to, locating and verifying field inspection sites, performing field inspections, and the documentation and evaluation of the findings.
Candidates must provide a high level of technical support relating to corrosion control and pipeline integrity. Pipeline systems include pipelines, tanks, compressor stations, and gas treatment plants. Candidates must hold a current NACE certification, as well as knowledge in DOT Compliance, documenting and maintaining all records, inputting data into a GIS database, and other related corrosion control work.
