Holland Engineering recently began performing natural occurring radioactive material (NORM) exposure control services for various TransCanada pipelines located throughout the Midwest. For the past several years, Holland Engineering has been extensively involved with a variety of services associated with clients’ in-line inspection programs. Such services have included providing survey assistance for locating AGM’s and locating anomalies; field assistance in running cleaning and inspections tools; and operational assistance in evaluating anomalies in the field. NORM exposure control is an extension of the existing field services Holland Engineering can offer.
