Surveying

Our internal staff of professionals has a broad spectrum of pipeline related surveying experience including:

• route selection
• preliminary surveys
• right-of-way determination
• condemnation surveys
• construction and as-built surveys
• locating and staking existing pipelines
• design and establishment of large scale horizontal and vertical control networks

To efficiently complete these tasks, a wide range of advanced equipment is available to our staff including GPS, Laser Scanners and Robotic Total Stations.

Our Survey Department also provides hydrographic surveys which allow us to gather topographic information on the bottom of water bodies. This information may be crucial in determining whether there are sufficient amounts of cover protecting a pipeline. It also enables us too quickly and cost effectively gather data in areas that may be inaccessible to conventional survey techniques.
