Madison Academy

HEI is currently assisting with the relocation of Madison Academy to a new 22-acre facility in Mundy Township near Flint, Michigan.  The site will begin as a 39,800sf K-8 school with plans for a future high school expansion of 27,300sf.  The project also includes a 200 space parking lot, future 185 space parking lot, baseball field, soccer field, playground area and a small nature area adjacent to Swartz Creek. 

Design services – site layout, stormwater management, grading, site utilities, landscaping, and local and state site plan approvals

Bradford Academy Recreation Field Maintenance
Southfield, MI
HEI assisted Bradford Academy with best practice recommendations for maintaining their recreational field and ensuring quality turf.  HEI drew upon the resource of their internal Landscape Architect to create a maintenance guide that would assist with the development of a maintenance program that considers use, weather and soil conditions. 

Potter’s House K-8 and High School Building Additions

HEI assisted The Bouma Corporation with site plans for the building addition and parking lot expansion of Potter’s House K-8 and High School located in Kent County, MI.

K-8th grade design services – redesign and re-grading of existing parking lot, landscaping design, site layout, engineering design of stormwater system and assistance with obtaining the necessary zoning approvals

HEI assisted The Bouma Corporation and National Heritage Academies with site planning and engineering services for Bennett Venture Academy, a K-8 grade charter school located in Toledo, Ohio.  The school is 45,800 SF on a 10-acre site with a recreation field and playground.
