West Oakland Pipeline Project
Consumers Energy - Oakland County, MI

HEI’s Pipeline Group was selected to provide engineering design and construction management services for Consumers Energy’s West Oakland Pipeline Project. This 25-mile, 36-inch pipeline will be used to transport natural gas and will be located entirely within the state of Michigan.

Preliminary services: - assisting with route selection, preparation of governmental and environment permits and attending applicable hearings for MPSC filing

Drafting services: – all civil and mechanical drafting

Design services: - trap and main line valve facilities, special construction area design, directional drill layouts, identifying additional construction workspace requirements, and preparing hydrostatic test drawings

Construction services: - material specifications,  preparation of supplemental construction specifications and assisting with contractor selection
