2009 Remediation Program  - Consumers Energy

For the sixth consecutive year, Holland Engineering's Pipeline Group is assisting Consumers Energy with their Remediation Program.  HEI will be assisting with the engineering review of their pipeline inspection program. 

Survey services -locate and stake anomalies, obtain site-specific pipeline profile information as needed and upon excavation, verify the location of anomalies 

Permitting services -prepare detailed permit drawings and obtain, or assist in obtaining necessary governmental and environmental permits

Remediation assistance - determine size and depth of anomalies, perform evaluations of anomalies to determine if they are within the acceptance criteria, determine if replacement is necessary, and document the specifications and limits of the replacement pipe

Coordination services - coordinate activities between HEI's Field Integrity Specialist(s), contractors and Company personnel 

Project documentation - prepare detailed reports of all inspection results including; summary of findings, details of each anomaly location, photographic documentation and comparison of predicted versus observed feature
