External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA) Program Consumers Energy Southeast, Michigan Assistance with the direct examination portion of the External Corrosion Direct Assessment Program. Services were provided for various high pressure gas distribution lines located in southeast Michigan and were performed in accordance with customer specifications and the ANSI/NACE Standard Recommended Practice. Data collection services – pipe-to-soil potentials, soil resistivity measurements, collection of soil and ground water samples, on-site pH testing and visual inspection. Inspection services - coating damage and corrosion depth measurements including assessment of coating appearance and bond to pipe, coating thickness measurement, collection of damaged coating and corrosion product samples, documentation of any coating defects, pipe surface damage, evaluation of remaining strength and ultrasonic measurement of pipe wall thickness. >>View more Project Examples
