HEI assisted Elzinga & Volkers with master planning services for American Autocoat’s Hudsonville, Michigan location including site planning for future build-out.

Phase 1 services - included site planning for a 17,850 SF addition including relocation of truck docks and additional parking

Design services - included relocation of mainline storm drain and easements and rerouting of existing mainline to avoid interference with future building additions

Douglas Harbor Village
Spohn Development Group
Douglas, Michigan

HEI assisted with the mixed-use, 3-phase Douglas Harbor Village condominium project located in the Village of Douglas, Michigan. The development will consist of 32 residential condo units and includes 18 commercial units with 30 additional residential units located above them.

Design services – site plan, planned unit development (PUD) approval, design for water, sanitary, stormwater management, private driveway and significant landscape planning and irrigation design services

Savannah Lakes Phase 2
Triangle Associates
Holland Township, Michigan

HEI is currently assisting Triangle Associates with Phase 2 of the Savannah Lakes Condominium Development located in Holland Township, Michigan. Savannah Lakes is a mixed-use development consisting of duplexes and larger condominium units.  The development also includes a site condo area with small lake, a community building with pool and a possible future "town home" condo area.  

Design services – sanitary, sewer and watermain extensions and site grading for the development

Planning services - storm sewer master planning and flood plain calculation of county drain

Lighting and Parking Design
Muskegon Community College
Muskegon, MI

HEI assisted Muskegon Community College with design, procurement and construction engineering services for lighting improvements to their parking lot areas and tennis courts.    The proposed parking lot and lighting modification were coordinated with the appropriate City's Planning/Zoning Department.  HEI also assisted with subconsultant selection for the lighting fixtures and electrical services.

Holland Township, Michigan

HEI assisted with engineering, surveying and site planning services for the 3-unit, ~6,000 sq.ft. retail building located in Holland, Township, Michigan.  The retail development is located within the West Shore Drive Commercial Parcels

Survey services - surveying and lot layout

Design services - preliminary site layout, site design and grading, storm drainage calculations, stormwater management, site design details and submittal meeting assistance

Spectrum Health Child Care Center
Third Coast Development
Grand Rapids, Michigan

HEI assisted Third Coast Development with site planning services for Spectrum Health's new child development center to be located on Michigan Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan.    The project is aimed for completion during the fall of 2008 and will combine Spectrum's current child care facilities located on Lake Drive E and the Blodgett campus in East Grand Rapids. 

Design services - site planning, utilities, stormwater management and landscaping design
Additional services - obtained Grand Rapids Land Use Development Services (LUDS) permit
