CAD Designer

Holland Office

Holland Engineering, Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced CAD Designer in our Holland office location. Candidate must be able to perform technical, computer-aided design support on projects independently for both our Local Land Development and Pipeline Groups. It is required that this candidate have a minimum of 4 years applicable industry experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. MicroStation experience would be beneficial but is not required. Candidates with industry related design experience will be given preference.

Candidate will perform non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Work will be assigned from sketches, verbal instruction and notes and candidate will maintain project schedules and offer progress reports. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meeting the assigned scope, schedule, budget and quality expectations; advising the Project Manager if schedule conflicts or incomplete data could adversely impact assigned tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to interact professionally with staff and clientele. This position will require strong organizational skills and task-oriented focus to support various project demands and workloads. Holland Engineering has a wide range of clients and projects, and therefore, the position requires an individual with a strong technical background and analytical skills that can quickly evaluate project requirements and apply the most effective resources. It is expected the successful candidate will remain flexible to perform the full range of assignments with a positive attitude.
