Holland Engineering is proud to announce that Josh Host, P.E., S.E., has completed the 16-Hour Structural Engineer Examination and is now a Licensed Structural Engineer in the state of Illinois. The pass rate for this year’s exam is less than 40% of the 570 engineers sitting for the exam.
Illinois is one of the few states requiring S.E. licensure to specifically practice structural engineering. Several states, including Michigan, have not yet adopted this level of standard practice for structural engineering.
Josh has demonstrated a commitment to the industry, the profession, and his career. By achieving this level of certification, Josh has shown that he has the knowledge to be an exemplary structural engineer. We are proud to have Josh as part of the team.
