Municipal Project Engineer

Holland Engineering is seeking an experienced Municipal Project Engineer to join our Holland, Michigan office. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in MDOT Local Agency and/or municipal design and construction projects; in addition to 1-5 years of project management experience. Experience in supporting private development projects is preferred. A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with a preferred background in transportation and public utilities, is required. A professional engineering license in the state of Michigan is preferred. Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office products is required.

The position will involve providing technical support and project management for municipal infrastructure and private development projects, including design, permitting, construction services, studies, and related work. The successful candidate will assist in preparing project proposals and schedules to assure projects are on time and within budget; possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to interact professionally with staff and clientele. Ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships is required.
