City of Holland Fire Stations

BRIEF

Holland Engineering, Inc. (HEI) partnered with the City of Holland to deliver vital updates to the city’s fire station facilities.

The project involved replacing the outdated and undersized fire station #1 with a modern 5-bay, 21,000-square-foot station designed to serve the community for decades. In addition, the project included the construction of a new storage building for reserve equipment and extensive renovations to fire station #2.

HEI’s services included surveying, site planning, grading design, stormwater management, landscape architecture, local permit assistance, public utility extension design and permitting, and comprehensive construction phase services. HEI collaborated with a diverse project team to ensure all aspects of the project met the city’s goals and standards for functionality and longevity.
