This year, Holland Engineering awarded its annual $2,500 scholarship to Marcos Larson, a first-year student at Michigan Technological University!
Marcos, who is pursuing a civil/geospatial engineering degree, has demonstrated both outstanding scholastic achievement and community service. He is an active member of the Douglass Houghton Student Chapter (DHSC), works with a campus youth group organization, volunteers for various local organizations, and plays on a Michigan Tech broomball team, all while maintaining his studies and working.
Marcos chose the geospatial/engineering program because of the experience he received at Holland Engineering as a summer intern. His grandfather was a surveyor, so being in the field runs in the family!
Congratulations again, Marcos, and best wishes as you pursue your personal and professional goals!
