South Chester and Central Charlton Separator Additions

BRIEF

This project entailed the installation of new natural gas two-phase separators with an automatic liquid dump system at ANR Storage’s South Chester and Central Charlton compressor stations.

The separators required installation of actuated aboveground 20” inlet and outlet block valves and 20” and 24” underground bypass block valves. They also required two level-control dump valves and an over-pressure protection valve on the dump line.

Prior to construction, we performed a pre-design survey to locate existing above- and belowground piping, conduits and power cables. We then provided mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering design. After construction was completed, we provided as-builts based on red-lined drawings from the field.
