Holland Engineering recently completed a pipeline encroachment survey in McHenry County, Illinois, using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and LiDAR.
Supporting DTE Energy’s Natural Gas Pipeline Project in Northern Michigan
Holland Engineering was selected to provide engineering, design and procurement services for DTE’s Traverse City Area Natural Gas Reinforcement Project (TCARP) in Grand Traverse, Benzie, and Leelanau counties.
MGU Marshall HCA Relocate
Holland Engineering assisted Michigan Gas Utilities with a replacement distribution pipeline approximately 7,800’ in length located in Marshall, Michigan.

2020 Scholarship Offered to Local Survey Students
This Student Scholarship Award for 2020 will select one survey student from Ferris State University, Michigan Technological University or Northwestern Michigan College to be awarded $2,500 to be used towards tuition or the purchase of student books.
Supporting the Adams Ridge Development Project from Start to Finish
Adams Ridge includes 18 four-unit townhouse-style apartment buildings on a 29.4-acre property in Holland Charter Township, Ottawa County, MI. This was a challenging site as portions of the property are encumbered by floodplain, wetland, and existing easements. Additionally, a county drain is located along the south and east sides of the property.
Surveying in the Upper Peninsula
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula can be treacherous during the winter, and the beginning of 2019 was no exception! Holland Engineering’s Pipeline Survey Group recently assisted SEMCO Energy with surveying and as-builts for its Marquette Connector project.
